Alcohol Free Rose Tincture Recipe

I LOVE making herbal recipes using Apple Cider Vinegar. ACV has SO many benefits on its own & I prefer an alcohol free tincture.

Rose is perfect ally for our hearts and is a beautiful teacher for navigating the journey of balancing softness (beautiful petals) with boundaries (protective thorns!)

Folk Method Directions:

  1. Fill half of a jar with dried rose petals

  2. Cover the rose petals with organic Apple Cider Vinegar and fill to the top

  3. Place parchment paper under the lid - put on lid tightly

  4. Label jar - include the date!

  5. Store in dark cupboard and remember to shake daily for 2 - 4 weeks

  6. Sometimes, after the first few days you may need to add a bit more ACV to make sure your herbs stay covered.

  7. After 2-4 weeks, strain your herbs and enjoy your vinegar based tincture!

  8. Store your vinegar in a jar, in the fridge. Or even transfer into tincture bottles, if you prefer!

Take by the spoon or dropper full or add as a base for salad dressings. It also makes a wonderful facial toner - just dilute with water and voila!
