


Yoga for Women in Recovery: Spring Equinox Gathering
Join us for an uplifting afternoon of trauma-informed yoga, guided journaling, and self-reflection in honour of the spring equinox and the power of renewal.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the SHE RECOVERS Foundation, a movement dedicated to uplifting women on their unique recovery paths. Open to women and non-binary individuals in or seeking recovery—whether from stress, burnout, grief, mental health challenges, or substance use.
Come as you are. You are not alone.
No yoga experience necessary, beginners welcome.

Directions + Parking: Located above Bao Restaurant, on Fisgard St. between Government and Douglas in Victoria, BC. There are several bike racks, a parkade across the street, free street parking before 8am and after 8pm.

Taryn Strong is the co-founder of the SHE RECOVERS® Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women in recovery. Having personally navigated substance use disorder, trauma, and other challenges, Taryn embraces holistic healing through yoga, ritual, and aromatherapy. A Certified Aromatherapist, AromaPsychologist, and Trauma-Informed Yoga Instructor since 2007, she has led 65+ women’s recovery retreats, presented at major conferences, and co-teaches the SHE RECOVERS Trauma-Informed Yoga Instructor certification program. Through her work, she empowers women to heal, connect, and reclaim their voices.
