Period Poverty
In my opinion we can’t have conversations about menstruation without also acknowledging period poverty, equity, menstruation and sustainability.
I had a wonderful conversation with one of the founders of Joni - a local (BC) organic & biodegradable menstrual product with an amazing mission. For every box someone buys, they donate a box to a non profit.
In our conversation we talked about:

-origin of the OUTDATED names for menstrual products: “feminine hygiene” and “sanitary products”?!
