The Threshold
For the woman who knows her most beautiful life doesn't include substances — private 1:1 somatic recovery coaching.
You've built a life around what's beautiful. You've always understood that how you live is not a detail - it's the whole thing.
And your relationship with substances has stopped belonging in that life. Maybe you're ready to step away entirely. Maybe you already have, and you're ready to go deeper — into the spaciousness, the reclamation, the woman on the other side. Or maybe you've stepped away before, and it found its way back in — and you're ready to begin again, this time held differently.
However you've arrived here, you're standing at a threshold. And thresholds aren't meant to be crossed alone - they're meant to be crossed held: week after week, while the new life takes root.
This is that place.
Because here's what you already know, even if you've never said it out loud: there's a kind of tired that sleep doesn't fix. The tired of managing what you don't want anyone to see. Of making promises to yourself you can't seem to keep. Of looking like you have it together — successful, capable, high-functioning — while something inside quietly unravels.
Maybe it's the third glass that's become a nightly ritual. The substance you swore you'd only use occasionally. The tracking, the justifying, the managing — always thinking about when, how much, who's watching.
You're not the stereotype. And you don't have to hit rock bottom to deserve support.
If there's a quiet recognition here — a whisper of yes, that's me — then you already know it's time.
This Work Is For You
This is for women navigating their relationship with alcohol, drugs, or any substance that's become more than it was meant to be.
And here's what I've learned: recovery doesn't end when we put down the substance.
Often, we just trade one coping mechanism for another. We give up alcohol and start overworking. We stop using and lose ourselves in caretaking. We stop numbing one way and start numbing another.
Because underneath it all, there's usually something we've been trying not to feel.
Here in The Threshold, we'll gently explore what's been buried underneath - so you're not just white-knuckling sobriety, but actually healing what made you reach for relief in the first place. This is how you take your power back — and rise into the life that's been waiting for you.
This is for you if you're tired of insight that doesn't translate into change - if you've done the thinking, the reading, the talking, and you're ready for something that actually reaches your body and nervous system, not just your understanding of it.
What You Might Be Feeling Right Now
Maybe you've tried before. The books, the podcasts, therapy, a group. And something still feels stuck.
You might find yourself:
Swinging between "I can do this" and complete overwhelm
Breaking promises to yourself, again and again
Numbing in other ways when you're not drinking - phone, food, shopping, staying busy
Struggling to set boundaries without drowning in guilt
Carrying shame about your past, unsure who to trust with the truth
Holding everyone else together while you're quietly falling apart
Living with anxiety that has nowhere to land
Feeling disconnected from your body, your voice, your needs
And beneath it all, the fear: that life without it will lose its colour. That you'll lose your creativity, connection, spontaneity, your fun. That everyone will judge you. That you'll fail. Again.
I hear you. And I'll tell you what I know to be true: the life on the other side isn't smaller. It's richer, more vivid, more alive than anything the substance ever offered.
What Becomes Possible
This work isn't about perfection. It's about coming home to yourself.
When we work together, life won't suddenly become easy. But you will be held - not because the hard parts disappear, but because you're not carrying them alone anymore.
Over time, you may notice:
You trust yourself again - or maybe, for the first time.
You're not white-knuckling it - you have tools that actually soothe your nervous system.
You can set boundaries and say no - to the drink, to the people, to the old patterns - without drowning in guilt.
You feel present with the people you love - less reactive, more anchored.
You're building a life you don't want to numb out of - rooted in your values, your truth, your becoming.
You're not just sober. You're coming home to yourself.
What a Session Looks Like
Each session is a sacred space just for you - a pause in the rush of life to come home to yourself and to your recovery.
As a Somatic Recovery Coach, I believe true healing isn't only found in the mind - it's held in the body. "Somatic" simply means we listen to the body, not just the story. So often, recovery stays in the head: talking it through, understanding it, thinking your way to a different choice. We meet the pattern where it actually lives - in the nervous system. Throughout our time together, we return to the body as needed - to listen, to honour what's there, to notice before we name. To cultivate a connection with your felt sense, your inner knowing — honouring the wisdom and intuition your body already holds.
Scent is woven in, too. As a Certified Aromatherapist, Community Herbalist, Botanical Perfumer and AromaPsychologist, I know scent reaches the nervous system faster than any story can. At the start of our work together, I create a custom aromatherapy blend just for you, mailed to your door. In session, it becomes an anchor, and over time, a way back to your body. Between sessions, it comes with you: something to reach for in the quiet moments, when the old habit used to be the reach.
Each session also includes a recovery plan, co-created together - something concrete to carry with you until we meet again. Not a rigid assignment, but a living guide: what to reach for, what to notice, what to practice.
Over our time together, you'll build a felt sense of your own nervous system - what dysregulation feels like before it takes over, what actually soothes you, and how to reach for that instead of the old coping mechanism. That's not a mindset shift. That's a different relationship with your own body.
All of this has a name: Enriched Recovery - my signature approach, and the philosophy beneath everything I offer. Recovery that is embodied, botanical, intentional, and transformative. Because recovery doesn't take from you. It gives you back to yourself.
There are two ways to be held in this work: a season, or a year.

For The Woman Who Desires More.
For a very small number of women each year, I hold The Threshold Year.
A full year of being held — through every first, every season, every crossing.
You know this about yourself: you don't do things halfway. When you decide, you decide completely. What you've been waiting for isn't willpower — it's a container equal to the decision.
Because the first year holds all the firsts: the summer wedding and the winter holidays, the birthday, the anniversary, the ordinary Tuesday — the first time each hard thing comes around without the old escape. These are the moments that decide whether the new life takes root. And you don't have to meet them with willpower. You can meet them held.
The year is ours. A full year of this work, moving at the rhythm your healing asks for — sessions woven close in the tender stretches, more spacious as you strengthen. Each session goes to where the pattern actually lives — in the body — shifting what years of talking about it couldn’t reach. Scent anchors every session, a botanical thread running through the whole year, beginning with a custom aromatherapy blend made just for you.
And at your year’s close, a ceremony: a final session to honour everything you’ve crossed — every first, every season, every time you chose yourself. To mark it, I create your own bespoke botanical perfume, built from everything the seasons surfaced. Artisanal natural perfumery, the scent of the woman you’ve become. You’ll wear it for the rest of your life, and your body will remember: this is who I chose to become.
Your healing keeps its own time, and the year keeps it with you.
A year held is a year rooted.
What's included:
40 x 60-minute somatic recovery coaching sessions — body-based work that shifts patterns at the nervous system level, closest in the early months, spacious as you strengthen
Your custom aromatherapy roll-on — a blend made just for you, to begin your year
Text support between sessions, Monday–Friday, with replies within 24 hours.
A living recovery plan — evolving with you through every season
Seasonal recovery rituals — as each season turns, a ritual guide arrives in your inbox, rooted in the old Celtic fire festivals: a practice to explore on your own, marking where you are and what’s ready to shift
Your closing ceremony and bespoke botanical perfume — a final session to honour all you’ve crossed, and the scent of the woman you’ve become
Investment: $10 800 CAD + gst
12 month payment plan: $900/month
or
$10 000 paid in full* (*pay in full saves you $800)
However you're held - for a season or a year - a bespoke private retreat on Salt Spring Island can be woven into our work together, whenever it calls to you.
Ready to Begin?
The next step is simple: reach out through the form below, and I'll be in touch to arrange a private connection call. We'll talk about where you are, what you're longing for, and which form of this work is the right fit - whether that's a season, or a year. No pressure. Just an honest conversation between two women.
